22 year old JARETH from north-west London is one of Londons most refreshing songwriter/ singers to emerge from the unsigned scene. It was only three years ago that JARETH (formerly know as Jaysongs) discovered her talent for the pen and mic. With her distinctive, jazzy under-toned vocals and catchy melodies she is one young lady that will surely penetrate the charts in the near future. She has already caught the attention and met with major labels despite the fact she hasnt even yet released anything on the market.

Its no wonder this young lady is grabbing the attention of the labels and growing audiences. Her live performances are nothing short of amazing. Off the back of her intriguing accapellas at several open mic spots across London, JARETH's distinctive vocals have landed her gigs at CHELSEA FC(Stanford bridge), THE BEDFORD (Balham), BATTERSEA ARTS CENTRE (Battersea), YOYO's ( Formerly Notting Hill Arts Club), THE TROY BAR(Old Street, London), THE ION BAR (Ladbroke Grove), THE CUBAN (Camden) REGAL ROOM (Fulham), THE REVUE BAR (Soho) RHYTHM FACTORY (Whitechapel), SOUND (1 Leicester Square) to name a few in such a short space of time.

Within the short time that JARETH has been musical she has worked with several artists on the musical underground scene featuring on mixtapes and Eps for such artists and producers like CHEMO Productions (Kilimanjaro studios), SWINDLE (140 mixtape), INX (the insomniax), SHAE (Ava Leigh, Hill Street Soul), PATCH LUNCH, KUZ, SLIC 1, CLEMENT MARFO.. to name a few.

With a catalogue of songs exceeding over 30 tracks, this one woman writing machine is set to wow audiences with her much anticipated Ep entitled "Summers Town". The Ep will be a collection of songs written and performed by JARETH and will be featuring productions and mixes from JAMES LOUGHREY (Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Lionel Richie
etc.) CHEMO Productions (Kilimanjaro studios), INX (the insomniax), PATCH LUNCH. The project will be fresh, fearless and distinctive.
